Before scheduling an appointment, I kindly ask you to review the contraindications associated with the massage services.
Restrict Treatment
A situation in which NO massage at all is appropriate. This is usually for reasons of practitioner protection and the safety of clients.
Pregnancy - Not in the first trimester
Cancer
Contagious or infectious diseases – Fever, Diarrhoea, Skin irritations
Recent fractures – Minimum 3 months
Varicose veins - Avoid the area
Under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Requiring Medical Permission
In circumstances where medical permission cannot be obtained, clients must provide written informed consent before treatment.
Any condition already being treated by a GP or another complementary practitioner
Cardiovascular conditions - Thrombosis, Phlebitis, Hypertension, Hypotension, Heart conditions

Online bookings require full payment in advance, ensuring a secure transaction.
You can reschedule your appointment at no additional cost up to 24 hours in advance.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure the punctuality of your treatment.
If you arrive late, the duration of your treatment may need to be adjusted.
If you need to cancel, kindly provide at least 24 hours notice before your appointment.
To maintain a serene environment, silence your mobile phone during your visit to avoid interruptions.

1. Stay Hydrated
Massage stimulates circulation and the lymphatic system, helping to release toxins. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and keep your body hydrated. Avoid excessive caffeine or alcohol for the next 24 hours, as they can dehydrate you.

Allow your body time to adjust and recover. To prevent muscle strain, avoid strenuous activities, intense exercise, or heavy lifting for at least 24 hours.
3. Listen to Your Body
You may feel deeply relaxed or even a little sore after a massage—this is normal. Any tenderness should subside within a day or two. Gentle stretching and light movement can help ease any discomfort.
4. Keep Warm
Massage can lower your body temperature slightly, so wear warm, comfortable clothing after your session. A warm bath with Epsom salts can also help relax muscles and promote healing.
5. Nourish Your Body
Eat a light, nutritious meal post-massage. Avoid heavy, processed foods to allow your body to focus on healing and detoxification.
6. Practice Good Posture
Be mindful of your posture after a massage to maintain the benefits. If you received deep tissue work, try not to slouch or put excessive strain on your muscles.

If your therapist gave you specific recommendations based on your session, follow them for the best results. This could include stretches, mobility exercises, or lifestyle adjustments.
